Water-Survival Boxes contain a water-purification kit that can supply a family with clean water for up to a year @ 2 litres per person per day.
The box also contains a range of essential survival items when a family has lost everything. They were last sent to Haiti following the devastating hurricanes in the autumn of 2008. Following the earthquake on 12 January 200 Water-Survival Boxes were offered to PDG Dick McCombe and Rtn Dr Claude Surena on 13 January and accepted. They are ready to be sent from England . We only await clearance for DHL to be allowed to transport them by air via Miami on to Port au Prince. The chaotic situation there is holding up our aid. A French search and rescue team supported by Water-Survival Boxes, has arrived in Port au Prince and is currently engaged in the desperate search for survivors. Full details of our Rotary project can be seen at www.worldwaterworks.org Donations to enable us to restock both for future aid to Haiti and for the next disasters should be sent to Worldwaterworks Limited, c/o Rotary, The White House, Pensford, Bristol BS39 4NE, England or to the registered office - see website.
